At the entrance to the most active valley in the world - the Zillertal - lies the "First Holiday Region in the Zillertal" with its 12 villages. Where the valley is widest and the places with the most hours of sunshine are located, guests will find countless opportunities to enjoy their holiday in the mountains in summer and winter.

Relax from the hustle and bustle of everyday life in the quiet, centrally located holiday village of Schlitters in the Zillertal. Whether cycling, mountain biking, e-biking, hiking, using the Schlitters sports facilities, bathing lake with leisure park in Schlitters,... in summer or skiing, cross-country skiing, winter walks,....in winter, the village of Schlitters is the perfect destination for your holiday. On holiday with the family, a ride on the Zillertalbahn with stop in Schlitters is an experience for young and old. The Schlitterer See lake for swimming is a 10-minute walk away. Ski area in Fügen approx. 7 minutes by car, ski area Kaltenbach Hochzillertal approx. 15 minutes by car. Schlitters is ideally situated between Innsbruck and Kufstein, entrance to the Zillertal and close to the Achensee, all within 45 minutes reach.

A special nature experience is the Schlitterer waterfall, which can be found at the end of the Öxelbach valley. A special visit awaits you at the pilgrimage church Maria Brettfall. A pleasant hiking trail leads from Schlitters to the church, which rewards you above Strass in the Zillertal with a wonderful view over the entire Zillertal.

In winter, the skiing areas of the First Holiday Region in the Zillertal Hochfügen-Hochzillertal and the family skiing area Spieljoch are easily accessible by the free ski bus or the Zillertalbahn train in just a few minutes from Schlitters. There is also plenty on offer off the slopes: Whether tobogganing, cross-country skiing or romantic winter hiking, Schlitters and the entire Erste Ferienregion in the Zillertal always offers the right holiday highlight for every taste.

In summer, the Erste Ferienregion attracts with over 400 km of hiking trails and 250 km of cycling and mountain bike routes. The family and adventure mountain Spieljoch in Fügen offers various attractions such as a water play park, flying fox, barefoot path and an exhibition mine. In addition to the diverse hiking offers, the twelve villages in the Fügen-Kaltenbach holiday region attract visitors with outdoor pools and bathing lakes. The Zillertal Golf Course, an 18-hole championship course, invites beginners and professionals to play a round of golf. In addition, there are offers such as climbing in the climbing hall or in the spectacular high ropes course in the Zillertal Adventure Park.

Arrival by car: from Munich/Salzburg/Vienna on the A 1, A 8 and A 93 to Kiefersfelden. Continue on the A 12 (ATTENTION: toll sticker required) to the Zillertal exit or toll-free over the Achenpass on the B 181 Achenseestraße to Wiesing. Then take the B 169 to the Zillertal. Schlitters is right at the beginning (after the tunnel)

Arrival by train/bus: Take the DB/ÖBB-EC to Jenbach/Tyrol station. From there take the Zillertalbahn or the bus to Schlitters in the Zillertal. From there it is a 5-10 minute walk to Lodge Schönfeld!
